CONCLUSION OF A THREE DAY STUDY VISIT OF TWO IOM LABOUR MOBILITY AND HUMAN DEVELOPMENT STAFF

Two of IOM Labour Mobility and Human Development staff recently concluded a three-day study visit to Ghana to learn best practices on diaspora engagement. They went along with Gambian government officials from Ministry of Foreign Affairs-The Gambia, Ministry of Trade, Industry, Regional Integration and Employment and Ministry of Interior.

They made visits to IOM Ghana, Centre for Migration Studies at University of Ghana, Ministry of Finance, Ghana, Ghana Investment Promotion Centre, and a hospital outside of Accra that benefited from an IOM project on diaspora skills transfer.
